Cheers to Philly: B Fresh Gear and the 2026 Craft Brewers Convention
There are weeks in business that feel like work, and then there are weeks that feel like a gift. The 2026 Craft Brewers Convention in Philadelphia was, without a doubt, the second kind. We are still pinching ourselves that B Fresh Gear was chosen to design the official 2026 CBC t-shirt and beyond humbled by the welcome we got from the craft beer community that wore it, asked about it, traded stories over it, and cleared our shelves faster than we could restock.
To everyone who stopped by the booth, picked up a tee, shook our hand, or sent a brewer over to say hi: thank you. Truly. This one mattered to us.
A sell-through rate we’ll be talking about for years
We have done a lot of events. We have never seen anything like this one. Our sell-through rate at CBC 2026 was a record for our brand, the highest we have ever hit at a convention floor, by a wide margin. Boxes that were supposed to last three days were gone in two. We were running back to the hotel for restocks. We were handing tees to brewery owners who promised to send pictures the next morning. And they did.
That kind of response is not something you manufacture. It is something a community gives you when the design lands and the moment is right. Philly showed up, and so did the brewers who flew in from every corner of the country to be a part of it.
Meeting every walk of brewery
The best part of the week was not the numbers, it was the conversations. Taprooms with one brewer and a dream. Regional powerhouses with tasting rooms in three states. Family operations celebrating a 30-year anniversary. First-timers about to open their doors. We got to sit with all of them and talk about something a lot of breweries quietly think about but rarely solve: their merch.
Merch is a peripheral item — it is not the beer — but it is one of the only things a customer takes home and wears. It walks around. It starts conversations. It puts your brewery on someone’s body in a city you have never shipped to. We shared with brewery after brewery how the right piece — bold, fresh, on-brand, comfortable enough to live in — sparks something that a coaster or a koozie just cannot. And we got to show them, with a tee they had already seen sell out down the hall.
Your customer is our customer
One of the things we kept coming back to all week: our demographic is your demographic. The people who follow B Fresh Gear are the same people who plan weekends around new taproom openings, who travel for a release, who post the flight before they post the food. They are gatherers. They are corral-the-friends type people. And they are exactly the customers a brewery is trying to bring through its doors.
That overlap is not a coincidence — it is the whole opportunity. When we partner with a brewery, we are introducing your taproom to a community that is already primed to love you.
Giving back: the B Fresh Brewery Tour Activation app
Which brings us to the announcement we are most thrilled to share. We are building the B Fresh Brewery Tour Activation — a way to give back to the community that has given us so much.
The idea is simple. Every partner brewery gets placed on the map, pinned to its zip code, and surfaced to our half-million-strong customer base — the same audience that already follows, shops, and interacts with B Fresh Gear every day. When our people open the app, they will see the breweries around them, the breweries on their next road trip, and the exclusive offers each one wants to put in front of them.
We are committing to driving real traffic — not impressions, not vanity numbers — and to making sure every brewery on the map can extend a unique offer to our community. It is a win for the brewer, a win for the customer, and exactly the kind of give-back we have wanted to build for a long time.
What’s next: your brand, our boutique
CBC 2026 confirmed something we already believed: there is a hunger for merch that feels as fresh and as intentional as the beer it represents. So we are leaning all the way in. Our white-label custom program lets any brewery — any size, any stage — drop into our boutique production process and walk away with on-brand pieces their customers actually want to wear.
If your brewery wants in on the Tour app, the white-label boutique, or both — we would be honored to work with you.
Ready to bring B Fresh into your brewery?

To Philadelphia, to the Brewers Association, and to every brewery who made room for us this year — thank you. We are blessed, we are humbled, and we are just getting started.
Cheers,
The B Fresh Gear Team

Hello, Any chance you have any of the T-shirts from the CBC left over? Looking for a 3X? Thanks!
